Offense Sputtered in Second Half

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers led an offense that sputtered in the second half of Sunday’s 27-22 loss to the New York Giants. Rodgers finished with 353 yards on 27-of-38 passing and three touchdowns, but he was also intercepted twice. The Packers scored just one offensive touchdown after halftime, a 22-yard pass from Rodgers to Davante Adams midway through the third quarter. Green Bay’s offense went completely cold after that, failing to score for the final 24 minutes of the game.

Defense Fails to Force Turnovers

In the first half, the Packers were able to force turnovers on three consecutive drives with big plays from their defensive line. However, in the second half the defense had a much harder time getting off the field. The Packers defense couldn’t get off the field when it mattered most and allowed too many 3rd down conversions which allowed New York’s offense to continue moving down the field.
